Apel Keuroghlian, MD, DDS
As an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Apel Keuroghlian, MD, DDS brings a unique set of skills to the team. Prior to graduating from the University of Los Angeles, he obtained a biomedical/biochemical engineering degree from the University of California. While working toward his undergraduate degree at USC, he researched effects of the different surface characteristics of implants and their integration with bone.
While working toward his dental degree at the USC School of Dentistry, he received numerous endowed scholarships, including the California Dental Association research and academic scholarships and the Class of 1954 endowed scholarship. While in dental school, he gravitated toward the surgical aspect of dentistry, so he decided to continue his education in oral and maxillofacial surgery at UCLA.
While there, he earned his medical degree and internship certificate in general surgery. In addition to working as a Beverly Hills dentist at Bedford Dental Group, he also holds a faculty position at UCLA. Apel Keuroghlian, MD, DDS truly enjoys what he does and works to enhance patient care by integrating his engineering, dental and surgical skills and education. While patient care is his first priority, he hopes to pursue research in the future.
Apel enjoys traveling, skiing, hanging out with his friends and playing basketball. He is also fluent in Armenian.
