5 Day Smile Makeover Step By Step
1st Visit | Consultation & Smile Design
The first step in your aesthetic smile makeover is an initial consultation. This appointment aims for three goals:
- Meet Dr. Naysan
- Discuss your concerns
- Plan your new smile together
Every patient is unique and may be looking for a different look. Dr. Naysan strives to create a smile that works for each patient’s unique facial structure, supporting the lips and matching the rule of thirds. At this consultation, we will prepare for your smile design by:
- Ensuring your teeth are healthy before making any changes
- Taking pictures and radiographs
- Taking a mold of your teeth
Together, these steps aid the ceramist in hand-crafting a diagnostic wax-up, which will be used for our smile design.
2nd Visit | Fabrication Of Temporary Veneers
About a week after the initial consultation, you can return for the placement of temporary veneers. After shaping your teeth, a final impression is made. We then place and adjust the temporary veneers. Think of this as a test drive for your new smile, allowing you to assess your look, receive feedback, and make any necessary modifications.
Dr. Naysan uses a conservative approach by preserving as much of your tooth structure as possible and making improvements only when necessary. This stage of the process is specifically designed to be flexible. So you will have every opportunity to make suggestions until you are perfectly satisfied with your look.
3rd Visit | Perfecting The Smile
This appointment can occur several days to a week after the placement of your veneers. This period between visits can be the perfect opportunity to get feedback. Ask your family, friends, and colleagues about your new smile and see what they say. For instance, if you find the shape too round or square, we will adjust them. Once you are confident in your new look, Dr. Naysan will take another set of molds for the master ceramist. In addition, we select the matching shade.
4th Visit | Placement Of The Permanent Smile
On your fourth visit, we remove the temporary veneers and place the permanent ones. Dr. Naysan works with the skill and finesse he’s used on many A-list celebrities, including Paris Hilton and Mariah Carey. We take the utmost care to ensure that your hand-made veneers fit comfortably and blend in with the rest of your teeth. Make sure to follow Dr. Naysan’s instructions for the proper care and cleaning of your veneers to get the most out of them. The standard rules of oral care apply, such as brushing and flossing every day to keep your veneers free of stains and discoloration.
5th Visit | Final Aesthetic Check-up
The final step in your facial aesthetic design is a post-op check-up. This visit ensures your veneers fit comfortably and look great. We will take a set of final photos so you can compare the dramatic difference before and after veneers.
